38”x38” Oil on gessoed board: Framed in pine with a natural colored stain. There were two sets of footprints in the sand, a mans and women’s. I debated, should I add them. Would it make the painting to busy? yes, it would, I realized I was too busy for a relationship. The big heart rock was enough! Looked like cobalt washed up on the beach very unusual blue sand everywhere. Intrigued, I painted it twice.
