A GIFT OF LOVE

As the holidays approach, I think about the gifts we give one another.

Have you received a gift that touches your heart so much you cry?  Have you every received a gift that made you laugh so hard you cried? How bout a gift of someone’s time that reaches your heart so deeply it nourishes you, fills you with joy, their presence, their laughter, their thoughtfulness. Did you ever receive a gift of service, where they come and do something for you that you where not able to do yourself.  Their presence is more than helpful it is uplifting, and a relief.  You wish you could pay them a million bucks!  A visit from loved ones who are far away, is more than a gift!

Have you ever received a gift that had such bad energy that you couldn’t keep it? Than you had this negative energy to get rid of.   Have you ever given a gift when you should have said you were sorry but you just didn’t want to, or you couldn’t own what you did wrong?   Did you ever give a gift because you felt you had to?  Did you ever receive a gift that disappointed you so severely you couldn’t hold back the tears? Did you ever not want someone to give a you a gift?  Did you ever receive a gift with an insult or a gift that was insulting?  Did you ever try to control someone with your gift?

Did you ever ask why did they get me this?  What am I going to do with this, and give it away?

What kind of gifts are always appreciated by everyone?  When should we not give a gift?
